  • Can I send you materials to have you use?
    We primarily work with mono-steel for our blades, meaning each blade is forged from a single type of steel. While we appreciate the beauty of Damascus steel, creating it requires equipment beyond our current capacity (Aaron's arm is doing a great job for now, but we're dreaming of a power hammer!). Regarding handles, we can generally work with most materials you provide, as long as they are already stabilized. This stabilization process is crucial for preventing cracking and warping over time. We're currently exploring options for stabilizing antler and horn in-house, but we haven't quite mastered that process yet. So, for now, we ask that any antler or horn you wish to use is already stabilized before you bring it to us. In most cases, if your handle material is properly stabilized, we can make it work for your custom knife.
  • Where do we ship to?

  • How do I use the Sharpening Service?
    We stand behind the quality of our blades, which is why we offer free lifetime sharpening. If your Hester's Hollow knife needs a touch-up, simply send us a message. We can then arrange a convenient pickup if you're local, or help you find the most economical way to ship it back to us for its spa day. We're happy to get your blade back to its original sharpness, ready for whatever task you have in store for it.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
